Happiness and enjoyment of the people is as important as the economic growth. Globally people strive hard to achieve economic success to ensure happiness and enjoyment for themselves and for people around them. In the blind pursuit of financial one-upmanship, a part of humanity has lost sight of the actual happiness and joy. The ultimate aim and the reason of all economic activity is to ensure a safe and a happy life. REL firmly believes and wants its people to participate in activities and programs which bring joy, happiness and fulfillment.
REL conducts and sponsors various religious, sports and environmental awareness activities which bring happiness and joy to its people and also to the other members of public. For the benefit of its people REL conducts annual VISHWAKARMA DAY festivities at the manufacturing facility premises which are attended by thousands of people. On this day various sports and cultural competitions are conducted among its people and their families. Special events are conducted for young children. Professional entertainment troops are called in to entertain and adorn the price distribution ceremony which goes well into the night.
REL conducts quiz competitions amongst its people on the annual day which are well attended. REL has well developed cricket teams among its employees. REL conducts annual cricket competition among its employees. The cricket teams of REL also participate in outside competitions and have brought glory to the company by winning many championships.
Apart from in-house activities REL also regularly sponsors sports championships conducted by various clubs and organizations. REL has sponsored several All India Tennis Championships and also Cricket Tournaments. REL firmly believes that all-round human growth is possible only by ensuring happiness, joy and fulfillment among the people and not just by economic activities.
